AniLovet Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Application description

AniLovet is an application for Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science professionals, available on Android and iOS devices. It provides reference tools, calculators, patient management, and support utilities. Technical requirements: compatible device, internet connection, and a user account.

2. Data we process

Professional identification data (including license or registration) and contact details you save in the app are not sold or transferred to third parties for advertising, unrelated marketing, or independent commercial exploitation. They are processed for the purposes in this policy and in the context of your contractual relationship with us (providing the application and support).

3. Purposes of use

We use data to authenticate your account, provide app features, sync information across devices where applicable, process subscriptions, perform backups when you request them, respond to support requests, comply with applicable legal obligations, and improve service stability and security.

4. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal data or use your data for third-party targeted advertising. We do not show third-party ads for profiling purposes or integrate ad networks for that purpose.

Official app stores: downloading the app and in-app payments and subscriptions may be processed through Google Play and/or the App Store (Apple), which process data under their own policies and terms.

Sign in with Google or Apple: when you choose these methods, Google and Apple act as identity providers; processing of basic authentication data is also governed by their privacy policies and terms.

Technology providers: we may use hosting, infrastructure, cloud services, and, if you use AI features, AI service providers, only as necessary to operate the application, subject to confidentiality obligations and security measures consistent with applicable law.

5. AI features

When using AI features, content you submit (for example, record excerpts or descriptions) may be transmitted to external services to generate results. These features are supportive and do not replace professional judgment. AI providers operate under their own terms; avoid including unnecessary personal data in prompts.

6. Device permissions

The app may request permissions for camera (photos), storage (files/backups), notifications and alarms (reminders). These permissions are optional and can be managed on the device.

7. Security

We apply reasonable security measures and access controls to protect your data.

8. Retention and account deletion

We retain data while the account is active or as needed for service and legal obligations. If you cancel or pause your subscription, we retain data on our servers for up to five (5) years so you can reactivate the service and recover your information within that period, unless you request earlier deletion as described below.

Account deletion (mobile app and web portal)

You can delete your account and associated data on our servers on your own: in the AniLovet mobile app (Android or iOS), open your user profile and choose “Delete account” (you will be asked to confirm). In the clinical web portal, signed in with the same account, open Subscription: the same option is at the bottom of that screen. This removes your user record, subscription rows in our database, and work groups you own (including clinical data and sync history for those groups). Other groups where you were only an invited member are not deleted; your membership ends when your account is removed. Active subscriptions on Google Play, the App Store, or Stripe must be managed in the relevant store or billing platform; deleting your AniLovet account does not by itself cancel those charges. You may also contact medivetapp@gmail.com for support or to exercise your rights. Local data on the device is detached when you sign out or complete the deletion flow; uninstalling the app can remove local copies.

Demo video of the full flow (sign-in or demo account → Delete account → confirmation), recorded on a physical device: YouTube — account deletion demo.

10. International transfers

If international transfers occur, they will be performed in accordance with the LGPD with appropriate safeguards.

11. Children's privacy
